On Wednesday, Kadokawa released a new image and the second English-subtitled promotional video for the television anime based on the light novel series Villainess Level 99 (Akuyaku Reijō Level 99: Watashi wa Ura Boss Desu ga Maō dewa Arimasen), written and illustrated by Satori Tanabata and Tea. The opening theme song is teased and the anime's theme songs are announced in the video. The crew also disclosed the addition of new cast members and staff, as well as the January 9 anime premiere.
The opening theme music, "LOVE or HATE?" is sung by Mayu Maeshima. The final theme song, "Suki ga Rebechi" (Love on a Different Level), is performed by Rina Hidaka's Eleonora Hillrose and Yumiella Dolkness, respectively, voiced by Fairouz Ai.
On January 9 at 24:30 (that is, January 10 at 12:30 a.m. JST or January 9 at 10:30 a.m. EST), the anime will have its television debut on the Tokyo MX channel. It is also compatible with AT-X, BS11, and MBS.
